Kajol..High Remuneration

The segment of heroines is quite tough and it is very hard for a beauty to stand up for long. Among such situation, the position of Kajal Agarwal is quite intact not just in Tollywood but also in Kollywood.  However, in the recent past it was observed that Kajal has not been seen with offers. In this aspect, the talk was that Kajal is charging extremely high and that’s why she is losing out.  For now, she has two Tamil projects. 

But then, responding to the talk Kajal reportedly said that she has raised her remuneration very meagre on par with market standards. She reportedly added that when heroines who came after her are charging crores of rupees what is the harm if she raises her remuneration by few hundreds.  She has reportedly clarified that she is saying no to those roles which require her to do seminude scenes.  

She reportedly alleged that it is those filmmakers whom she rejected which are going out and spreading false talk about her. Let us hope Kajal is reasonable with her fee then. 

Samantha.. Double Delight

The Madras beauty Samantha started off with a bang in 2013 when she came up with the film ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ during Sankranthi.  Now, this lovely smile beauty is going to give a double dhamaka for Dasara. Already Samantha has arrived with ‘Attarintiki Daredi’. In a week’s time she is going to be seen with the film ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’.  

If she manages to earn Rs 50 crores at the box office through these two films then she will create a new record of becoming the only heroine to give three hits more than 50 crores in the same year. Despite the fact that Shruti Haasan, Tamannah and Kajal are giving tough competition, Samantha has been keeping her position intact.  

Buzz is that even filmmakers are first checking with Samantha for her dates and only then they are approaching other heroines.  The craze she has right now can sustain her career for two more years so it is going to be a big challenge for the other heroines to bring Samantha down.

Nayanatara Dream Role

Nayantara, who has been in news for both right and wrong reasons all these years, says that she loves to act in the role of Anarkali as that's her dream. In fact, Nayanatara could get the historical role of Goddess Seetha in the film 'Sri Ramarajyam' though she appeared in bikinis in Tamil Billa earlier and also in alleged lip lock pics with Simbu on internet. She got rare respect for acting as Seetha. 

But now she says that her dream role is Anarkali and ready to act if anyone plans for it. Indeed, at this juncture where the budget of the films are hitting the skies with huge remunerations and promotion costs, it is indeed not an easy task to make a film like 'Saleem Anarkali' with expensive set properties and huge casting. It can happen again only in Bollywood. Nayan! Focus on Bollywood if you wish to quench your desire. 

Pawan Asked Who is Chiru?

This Dailauge from Pawan Newly Release Attarintiki Daredi. From the time Chiranjeevi merged his PRP with Congress, speculations were rife about differences between him and his brother Pawan Kalyan. The gossips have been on since then and though some groups quashed that as a rumour and asserted everything is fine here is something which might change their opinion. It is heard that Pawan has come up with a satire on Chiru in his new movie 'Attarintiki Daredi'. 

This is in the form of a conversation between him and senior comedian M S Narayana. Here is how the dialogue flow goes- Seeing a scene from Chiranjeevi’s Gang Leader on TV, the conversation between Pawan and MS goes like this:- Pawan: "eeyana evaru?" MS: "Chiranjeevi ani.." Pawan: " Acting baane chesthunnaadu. Ippudem chesthunnaaru?" MS: "maanesaaru sir" Pawan : "Yenduku?" MS: "vaallabbayi chesthunnaadu" With Pawan casually asking who Chiru is, it seems to convey he doesn't really seem to give that regard and respect to his Annayya like before. It remains to be seen how the hardcore Chiru fans are going to react to this. 

Kats Changed Her Preference

Hrithik Roshan's break from the set of Bang Bang, post his brain surgery, had Katrina Kaifsitting at home. Fortunately, she wasn't exactly twiddling her thumbs because she kept herself busy with her multiple endorsement shoots. She also had some important family occasions to attend, like her sister's wedding in England.

But the fact of the matter is, she spent a good three months of her life away from the studios.

In this interim period, several important professional developments took place. Kat signed Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor with Sushant Singh Rajput. More importantly, she bagged Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos with her beauRanbir Kapoor.

All of a sudden, there is a clamour for Katrina's dates again. The actress and her team are currently in the process of sorting out her dates. But a source told us that Kat will start shooting for JJ in November. And here arises the problem.

Hrithik told us that he had kept himself free for the next schedule ofBang Bang from November 15. Alas, Kat is reportedly unavailable during this time since she will be in the thick of the JJ schedule with Ranbir. Since 80% of scenes in Bang Bang have Hrithik and Kat, it's imperative that they shoot together.

Sources from the production house now say that Hrithik has requested that he be allowed to join the Bang Bang schedule from the end of November because he wants to hit the gym with a vengeance before he joins them.

And, in a sense, this decision of his has ostensibly averted the November clash. It is also said that Hrithik and Katrina will shoot for around 12 days in December, after which she will start with the promotion of her Christmas action thriller.

Vidya Balan is Lady Detective

Vidya Balan, who is known for her strong roles, is joining the league of Bollywood detectives. 'The Dirty Picture' actress will be seen playing the role of a detective in a film titled 'Bobby Jasoos'.

Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor ('Jagga Jasoos') and Sushant Singh Rajput ('Byomkesh Bakshy') are also turning sleuth for their respective films.

Reviving her friendship with actress-turned-producer Dia Mirza and her fiance Sahil Sangha, the film will be produced under their banner Born Free Entertainment.The script is written by Sanyukta Chawla and is to be directed by Samar Shaikh.

The film will go on floor in mid-November and is set for a summer 2014 release.

Beauties Ready To Step Into Bollywood

They are picture perfect and they are all trying to fit into the Bollywood frame. Foreign beauties are enjoying a popular spell in Hindi films and also on TV now. Katrina Kaif started an epoch of foreign imports in Bollywood. The half Kashmiri half British glam queen has ruled audience fantasy for a decade now and her phenomenal rise soon saw filmmakers go hunting for other exotic beauties.

Almost every new girl with a foreign connect is invariably compared to Katrina in terms of look, body language and sex appeal, the latest being Elena Kazan and Elli Avram. While the new lot also includes Lauren Gottlieb, Hazel Keech, Kristina Akheeva and Evelyn Sharma, the likes of Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Bruna Abdullah, Barbara Mori and Claudia Ciesla, who came in a while back, have seen mixed luck.Learning Hindi is the biggest hurdle. The first things all these girls do is get a coach for language and accent. However, as has been evident with Katrina, an outsider may learn the language technically but she could still be struggling to get the expressions right.

Knowledge of Hindi, though, has never been a hurdle in Bollywood. Long before the foreign influx, talented heroines like Sridevi and Jaya Pradha were regularly dubbed because they were uncomfortable with Hindi.

When Katrina Kaif made her debut with the 2003 dud Boom as the film's third heroine after Madhu Sapre and Padma Lakshmi, not many imagined the superstardom she'd achieve in 10 years.

Mentored by rumoured ex-boyfriend Salman Khan initially, Katrina primarily clicked for two reasons. First, she redefined Bollywood glamour with her half-Kashmiri, half-British appeal. And despite being a stranger to Hindi films initially and not knowing the language, she was quick to grasp what works. Her impressive success rate prove as much. Another aspect, she realised mastering would help, was dance. 

Coming up are Dhoom 3, Bang Bang, Fitoor, Kabir Khan's next, and Jagga Jasoos next with Ranbir Kapoor.  Hazel shot to fame playing Kareena Kapoor's best friend in Bodyguard but hasn't had much luck since then. The UK-bred aspirant did some dance numbers in regional films besides the Aa ante Amalapuram item in Maximum. Like Katrina initially, Hazel has been mentored by Salman Khan. Current project: Hazel returns to limelight as a contestant on Bigg Boss 7. So far: After Bodyguard, she shifted base to southern films. She did a cameo in the Tamil hit Billa before trying to return to Bollywood with her Maximum item number.

Lauren Gottlieb

Lauren was already a celebrity in the US before coming to Bollywood. She became a star on the popular reality dance show, So You Think You Can Dance.

Current project: She is busy with rampwalking jobs at fashion shows.

So far: She acted in ABCD: Any Body Can Dance. Her stint on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has made her a star.

Elli Avram  

Elli is Greece-bred and has inherited the acting bug from her mother, noted actress Maria Granlund. She makes her debut on the silver screen in October with Mickey Virus opposite Manish Paul.

Current project: Elli is busy wrapping up her Bollywood debut film Mickey Virus, scheduled to open next month and is making waves as a participant on Bigg Boss season 7.

So far: Elli struggled in Bollywood briefly and did the rounds of the studios auditioning for roles. She has finally managed to bag a starring role in Mickey Virus, which marks the film debut of television star Manish Paul. While the film is set to release in October, Elli is currently enjoying her stint on Bigg Boss 7.

Evelyn Sharma

Half-Indian, half-German Evelyn started off with small-time modelling assignments and music videos.

Current project: Evelyn has an interesting role in Yaariyaan, the directorial debut of Bhushan Kumar's wife Divya Kumar.

So far: Although her debut act in From Sydney With Love went unnoticed, Evelyn shot to fame earlier this year with an interesting role as a vacuous PYT in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. She also had strong supporting roles in Nautanki Saala and Issaq.

Elena Kazan

Russian model Elena started out with a Bengali film, Clerk, in 2010. A cameo in Agent Vinod went unnoticed.

Current project: Elena is awaiting the release of Prague, a horror flick co-starring Chandan Roy Sanyal.

So far: Elena starred opposite Randeep Hooda in John Day, a revenge thriller starring Naseeruddin Shah. Not much came of it since the film tanked.

Kristina Akheeva

Russian beauty Kristina has done several modelling projects in the past and was finally noticed by the Deols who gave her a break earlier this year.

Current project: Kristina is right now focussing on modelling. She has been busy rampwalking at sundry fashion shows even as she awaits her next Bollywood offer.

So far: She made her debut as a heroine in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, starring Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. She is also the ambassador for a jewellery brand.

Bruna Abdullah

Brazilian ex-model Bruna has been around since 2007 doing item numbers. She featured in Grand Masti and has a role in Salman Khan's Mental.

Barbara Mori

The Uruguayan-Mexican ex-model was launched opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kites. Despite hype, the film bombed and she disappeared from the scene.

Jacqueline Fernandez

Ex-Miss Sri Lanka Universe Jacqueline has had a steady run. Despite her flop Aladin, she created a bang with Murder 2 and Race 2. She will be seen in Salman Khan's Kick and with Arjun Rampal in Roy, that has Ranbir Kapoor in a CLAUDIA cameo.

Akkineni Nageswar Rao Is Great

Akkineni Nageswara Rao (born 20 September 1923) is a prominent Indian film actor and producer, predominantly in the Telugu language. From paddy fields, he strode into the field of fine arts through theatre. He became a famous stage artiste, specialising, surprisingly, in playing female characters,^[1] because women at that time were prohibited from acting. Some of the famous plays he acted in were Harishchandra, Kanakatara, Vipranarayana, Telugu Talli, Aasajyoti and Satyanveshanam.^[2] Subsequently, he was discovered, by chance, by the then prominent film producer, Ghantasala Balaramaiah, at the Vijayawada railway station. He was then cast in the film, Dharmapatni. Since then, Nageswara Rao has starred in several films of various genres during his unparalleled 71-year acting career. He was honored with the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honour for his contribution to Indian cinema, and is the recipient of the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, the highest individual lifetime achievement award for films in India.

Akkineni Nageswara Rao was the youngest of 5 brothers born into a poor family on 20 September 1924 at Ramapuram, Krishna District.^[1] His parents, Akkineni Venkatratnam and Akkineni Punnamma were from the farming community. His formal education was limited to primary schooling due to his parents' poor economic conditions.

The farm boy, who never imagined that he would cross the borders of his village or district, toured all over the world as an ambassador of art and culture. 

Among other things, Nageswara Rao is credited for influencing Telugu film producers and creating a base for Telugu films in Hyderabad. The Telugu film industry in its early days was based out of Madras (now Chennai) in Tamil Nadu. The new state of Andhra Pradeshwas carved out from the Madras Presidency on 1 November 1956 and several leaders opined that in order to create a separate identity for the Telugu film industry, it had to be based out of Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
